Greetings
Welcome to the Greentrees Computer Club web site. On this and the following pages we'll share information about computers that we've learned in the computer classes that the club sponsors.
The club offers residents of Greentrees free computer instruction. The basic class meets the first Wednesday of the month at 11:10. The advanced class, usually taught by Jep Norwood, meets on the third Wednesday, also at 11:10. The club holds its monthly meeting at 11:10 on the second Wednesday while on the fourth Wednesday a member of the club will teach a class, also at 11:10.
Computer club officers for 2009: Dea Cutting, president; Connie Goddard, treasurer; Connie DeGray, secretary. John Morgenegg is the coordinator of advertising.

What's the basic class about? According to Collette Bailey, who sometimes teaches it: "The basic class is all about whatever comes up in class that someone wants to know about. I had a revolving door of people in there every week and sometimes people came in that didn't even have a computer but thought they were going to get one. Whatever topics came up is what we usually did. There were always questions. One day I did a Picasa refresher. It's an open-ended class for anyone and everyone."
What's the advanced class about? It varies. One week someone will give a special presentation. Once a month, local computer guru Jep Norwood leads the class and answers questions that club members might have. Click on Class and Club Happenings on the left to see what the advanced class--and the computer club itself--are up to.
