Page 4--Make a website 

  Anyone with a computer can now have a web site and it doesn’t cost a cent. All you need is a Google Gmail account, which is free.  

  To be sure, the web-making program isn’t as sophisticated as Dreamweaver, a six-hundred dollar program. Still, it can get you on the Internet.

   To make your own web site: 1. In the Google home page, click on more at the top. This will open a box. Click on even more.  

  2. On the right side of the page there’s a section called Explore and innovate. The third item down is Labs. Click on it. Voila! Another box opens.

   3. Scroll down here on the left  to Google Page Creator (the 8^th item down) and click on it. You’ve arrived. Now you can start making your very own web site. In fact, you can have five sites.

   You have a choice of templates, fonts and colors. When you’re through making pages you can link them together into a site.

  You can insert links to other web sites, photographs or clipart. You can even preview your pages before you “publish” them.
